Yesterday was a notable day for the English People. It was the feast day of their patron saint. Today is a significant day for the Cornish People. It is not the feast of our patron saint (that was about fifty days ago). Perhaps it is even more important. Ten years ago the UK Government recognised Cornish people as a national minority, through the Council of Europe's Framework Convention for the Protection of National Minorities. Why is this so significant? Mebyon Kernow will tell us. I will write more tomorrow.
