Truro is a small city, but it has many societies and social groups. Sadly, there isn't a big room or hall cheap enough for their meetings or exhibitions. The Hall For Cornwall is expensive (£700 for a week!). Our art society doesn't have money like that. I went to our new meeting place today. It is not in the city. It is in Kea Playing Place. We had a professional model to draw - two poses (standing and seated) with tea and biscuits between them. I found the seated pose more difficult. The proportions are wrong.

There is little traffic if the roads are closed! There are many inaccessible places, but you can absorb the peace and quiet. We have fresh water too. Sometimes it runs in the road.
