Sometimes in winter we can see a very beautiful sunrise. In this one, the low sun is illuminating the clouds pink and orange, among the grey and blue. Without doubt there will be many beautiful sunrises in summer as well - but I won't wake up early enough in the morning to see them. Sadly, I have never seen Stonehenge sunrise in years gone by, and I will never see it in the future.

They are swallows - considered good luck by sailors, because of showing that land is near. (A swallow is never seen in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.) She painted swallows, too, with maps on their bellies, forked tails and red throats. I love this exhibition. T hen Stephen married Mary, Mehitabel's younger sister.  So, Mary was Calvin's aunt and his stepmother. Stephen and Mary had a son, Henry. That son was Calvin's half-brother. But as the aunt's son was he also Calvin's cousin?
